Best news story ever. I don’t know how this makes air, or if it’s even real. If it is then you should never watch news in Cleveland.
On a more somber note…
A year ago today my Alma mater was devastated when some guy decided to take the lives of five other innocent people just because he felt like it. 365 days later the NIU community is still feeling the effects of that day, whether it be in the classrooms or just walking past Cole Hall… it still resonates.
Today I think of them and the brave students journalists who ended up covering that story to keep all of us informed. They never have gotten the respect they deserve for doing such a hard job.
So thanks for taking such a terrible situation and making it a model for perseverance, hope and community. I’m thinking of you.
