So I was really excited that I got an advance copy of the new Motion City Soundtrack album My Dinosaur Life a couple weeks back, as they are one of my fave bands…

I know no one else I know really digs them besides a select few… But is it just me or does this album suck a huge sack of FAIL.

BLINK 182’s Mark Hoppus produced MDL which got me thinking maybe they would go in a different direction… They did … downward. All the tracks (besides 7,12) are really predictable and lame. I think they are going for the whole lets get played on 101.9 the MIX thing. Don’t get me wrong I get it, the only way they are going to make serious $$$ is to appeal to a larger demo. But the product here just stinks.

Does anyone else think this album sucks a ton?
